REQUIREMENT
An electronic shelf labelling solution company, required support from RGIS to install electronic shelf labelling within 17 hypermarkets to ensure they could meet the timeline of one hypermarket per night. The company required the following:
- Support installing electronic shelf labelling in 17 hypermarkets
- To complete one hypermarket per night
- More than 50,000 electronic shelf labels per hypermarket
- Link the electronic shelf labels to the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) product code
SOLUTION
An electronic shelf labelling solution company partnered with RGIS to complete the electronic shelf labelling project. RGIS provided the following:
- Teams of 80 experienced auditors were allocated per hypermarket
- Scheduled eight hour shifts per hypermarket
- Dismantled old racking
- Set up new racking
- Installed the electronic shelf labels in the correct locations
- Linked the electronic shelf labels to the stock keeping unit (SKU) product code
RESULTS
An electronic shelf labelling solution company found that by outsourcing the electronic shelf labelling project to RGIS, the following was achieved:
- All 17 hypermarkets had electronic shelf labelling installed quickly and efficiently
- Minimum of 50,000 electronic shelf labels installed per hypermarket
- The tight deadline requested, of one hypermarket per day, was achieved successfully
