RGIS is gearing up to host its first-ever global COUNT-Athlon, an exciting competition designed to challenge the company’s top auditors worldwide. With regional heats taking place across the globe, the stage is set for an intense grand finale this December in Paris. The Count-Athlon competition tests speed, accuracy and dexterity to it’s limits.

The recently concluded 2024 UK and Ireland COUNT-Athlon Championship brought exceptional talent to the fore, including Ireland’s own Alexandru Macesanu, who put up a valiant fight and narrowly missed a podium finish. Alexandru’s performance highlighted the dedication and precision that RGIS auditors from Ireland are known for.

The coveted Count-Athlon UK and Ireland championship title went to Swalih Nasir from Cardiff, whose consistent performance throughout the evening earned him the top spot. Daniel Buckley from Manchester and Lewis Abraham from Norwich delivered electrifying performances to secure second and third places, respectively.

Special mention must also go to the talented finalists who represented the UK and Ireland with distinction: Yusuf Anjari (London West), Richard Johnston (Cannock), Thomas Booth (Sheffield), and Ireland’s Lucian Patrascu. Their exceptional skill, teamwork, and commitment made this year’s event a true celebration of excellence.

A heartfelt congratulations to all the finalists and a big thank you to the organisers, supporters, and participants who made the event such a resounding success. The COUNT-Athlon continues to underscore the talent and teamwork that define RGIS across the UK and Ireland.

As we look ahead to Paris, the spotlight turns to Swalih, who will proudly represent the UK and Ireland on the Count-Athlon global stage. Ireland stands united with the UK in wishing Swalih the very best of luck as he competes for international glory.

Let’s show our support for Team RGIS UK & IRELAND as they aim to bring home victory!
